I am requesting to move rooms at the hotel tomorrow. After perusing the Dedeman website I discovered that they didn't put me in the right kind of room. I thought it was odd that my "bed" was two twin beds pushed together. I am also supposed to have a coffee/tea maker and more space. So, I contacted "R" here at the plant and let him know. He put in the call and I can go down to the desk tomorrow morning to ask for a room change. This will also help with my loud, 3:00 AM door banging neighbor and the kids who run screaming through the hall on the 5th floor. I'm going to ask for the 8th floor. It's the top floor of the hotel and I've been told that these rooms have flat screen tvs. Much better than my crappy tv that I can't turn because the satellite cable jack comes out of the back. It'll be a pain to pack up and move but hey, what else do I have to do and I'm pretty sure my back will thank me. That's what I get for checking into the hotel after 10pm after 16+ hours of flying and being sick. At that point I didn't care.
Today the plant manager brought in cake for everyone. It's tradition on your birthday to bring in sweets. That was a lot of cake and beverages. They have nice traditions around here!
