Now to begin the task up uploading my photos! It'll take a while so bear with me. In the meantime, here's an update of the last few days.
Today, Saturday, I was supposed to go to Family day at the plant. Last night after work, I spent most of the night in the bathroom. I don't think I ate anything bad...it was all the usual stuff. M thinks something has been going around. She and her hubby had it last Sunday/Monday and D wasn't feeling well on our trip. (But, was such a trooper!) Then me last night and this morning. I'm feeling better but didn't sleep much last night so I've decided to lay low. Especially since it's going to be 90 degrees + today and I don't want to stand around outside all day. So, here I am, laying low. Will probably do some work today as well.
Also, the other day I gave myself my daily injection for the first time without the injector pen. It wasn't so bad, but I was literally shaking with the thought of being the actual "stabber". I still like the injector pen....perhaps one day I will be liberated from it.
I was emailing myself pictures from off my phone and sent about 5 pictures of Skippy. Of course, the email didn't go through and I deleted the pictures off my phone. I am very pissed off. I plan to make a Skippy and Leon scrap book when I get home...so I'm trying to gather all the pictures I have. I think that includes a trip to my ex's house, There's a whole basket full of pictures there that I forgot about....including some of my college pictures. Hopefully, his new GF hasn't found them and destroyed them. (Sorry, Carol....she probably would...) So, that's on my list of things to do when I get home.
Otherwise, we got home late Thursday night from Samarkand and then off to work yesterday. It went by quickly because I had so much to catch up on. It appears that Thursday was a hard day for everyone at the plant. I'm not sad I missed it. I also ended up at the end of the day, writing a letter to our GSC manager about an incident that occurred yesterday. I'm sure I probably stirred up some stuff, but it had to be addressed. We'll see how it pans out on Monday.
We're now down to 13 days to Spain and 42 days until I head home. We should probably book some hotels! Also, on my list today.
Anyway, here we go with my Samarkand adventures!
