This is the restaurant where we ate. It was super busy and lively. They had a band outside, DJ inside and we had a table on the top floor...I hear that there are three restaurants in this family, one in Tashkent, New York and Samarkand.
After we left dinner, we walked down the sidewalk. There were no lights and I finally got to use my Flashlight App on my phone. Thank God, I probably would have fallen in this huge hole. It wasn't barricaded or taped off. D and I could both be buried in here!
The first wine we rejected because it wasn't local. Our waiter looked 15 and didn't listen very well.
The local wine we approved. It was awesome! I bought some. It was a very light, semi-sweet wine.
MMMM.... SHASHLIK! There is chicken, lamb and beef kabobs. Later, pork shashlik appeared. It was all very, very tasty! This was accompanied by various salads, bread, tomatoes and potatoes.
