I've met the first person I don't like here. Of course he's American. We'll leave it at that. Except, he's not staying - leaves next week. Grrr... irritation the first thing in the morning is something I don't need.
So, I've given up eating in the cafeteria. I'm so sick of the offerings that just smelling it makes my stomach churn. So, I've been bringing little things to snack on throughout the day. Yogurt, pringles, almonds and cashews, fruit, a croissant that I stole from breakfast, cheese and crackers etc. I just look at all the oil in the bottom of the pans on the serving line and I want to yark. So, making lunches is what I'll be doing. I could also have leftovers from my dinners the night before as well. Usually they bring enough food to feed two people. So...it's not a big deal.
Here are my countdowns! 30 days until my Spain trip! AND 59 days until I head home to Michigan! It's gone by so quickly, I can't believe it.
There are gypsy children that walk between the cars during rush hour collecting money. I'd heard about this, but yesterday was the first time I saw it. They walk right up to the car windows and stare at you until you give them money. It's pretty sad. I did not give them money.
